Ariel 350 Red Hunter NH 1957

A gorgeous example of Ariel’s 350cc Red Hunter single NH model first registered from new in the UK in 1957 as confirmed by the V5 registration document, the bikes paperwork folder documents a healthy amount of engine and gearbox rebuild works from circa 2015. The overall condition can be judged from the pictures as very good. An easy starting big single all serviced and road tested ready for the new owner.

In 1946 the Hunters became the first models to feature Ariel’s new telescopic front fork, and the following year could be ordered with optional Anstey Link plunger rear suspension. A new duplex loop frame with swinging-arm rear suspension was adopted for 1954, the 500cc VH gaining an alloy ‘head at the same time. Full-width alloy hubs were adopted across the range in 1956, and the Red Hunters continued in this form until production ceased in 1959.
