BMW 750 Classic Racing Sidecar

We are pleased to be able to offer this rare opportunity to be able to purchase this pre 1972 BMW 750 Classic racing sidecar.

The chassis is a modern reproduction and has been built by Mike Richards at MRE and handles excellently.

The engine is a full race spec 750 Short Stroke BMW R75 produced by Richard Moore (Moore Speed) possibly one of the best 750 classic race motors available, the engine has been back to Moore speed and been fully refreshed and rebuilt only 2 meetings ago. Paired with a Nova short ratio 5 speed race gearbox cluster, dry sump kit and a redline of over 9,500 rpm and 75BHP at the back wheel it is a truly special piece of kit.

The outfit has just been through our workshop and checked over and serviced with new wheel bearings & brake pads to name a few items.

The outfit is eligible for race series in the UK with the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club & British Historic Racing club, there is also many classic race meeting and clubs over on the continent one being the Camathius Cup. This bike would be a potential podium finisher/championship winning machine at any of these meetings having already won a number of races & championships to date.

This is a truly special machine and they don’t come up for sale very often, it offers great value for money as this package built new would be well in excess of £30,000!
