Yamaha RD250 1973
We are proud to offer our 1973 Yamaha RD250 in stunning white and blue livery, this is an original unrestored time capsule of a bike and is one of the best examples we have seen. With matching numbers and the clocks showing a low milage of only 7000 miles it is not to be missed. In the early 70’s Yamaha’s round tanked RD250 really was the bike to own. Countless chip shop duels, youth club contests and high street high jinks would demonstrate just how good the bike was. The addition of reed valves had allowed Yamaha’s designers to tweak the porting of the old YDS7 for more top end power while retaining bottom end tractability! We think the blue and white colour scheme has got to be up there as one of the best.
